The Cabarrus-Rowan Metropolitan Planning Organization (CRMPO) Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) is a joint effort between the CRMPO and the NCDOT – Transportation Planning Division (TPD). During this process the area's future multimodal transportation needs will be determined and recommendations will be provided for a 25-30 year time frame. The process will include input from local government officials, planning staff, and the public. The 2017 CRMPO CTP was approved by the CRMPO Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) on January 25, 2017 and mutually adopted by the NCDOT Board of Transportation on March 9, 2017. ***** The 2019 CRMPO CTP Amendments were approved by the CRMPO Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) on March 27, 2019. The NCDOT Board of Transportation mutually adopted the CRMPO CTP Amendments on May 2, 2019. ***** The 2020 CRMPO CTP Amendments were adopted by the TAC on August 26, 2020. The North Carolina Board of Transportation mutally adopted the 2020 CRMPO CTP Amendments at their October 8, 2020 meeting.
