Producer/Supplier Facility Approval:
NCDOT Materials and Tests Unit is responsible for approving facilities to produce and supply materials to be used on NCDOT projects. The approval process includes an on-site inspection by an NCDOT representative as well as material sampling and testing.
Material Certifications :
NCDOT Materials and Tests Unit provides certification for materials used on NCDOT projects including FHWA, State Funded, Rail, and Local Government Administered. The certification process includes a review of sampling and testing procedures, producers and suppliers utilized, and documentation management.
