The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is conducting a wage rate survey of contractors and subcontractors who have performed Highway type construction work on projects with contract amounts greater than $2000. The survey will be conducted from February 27, 2012 until May 9, 2012. Highway Construction includes construction, alteration or repair of roads, streets, highways, runways, taxiways, alleys, trails, paths, parking areas, bridges, and other similar projects. Projects may include federal, state, municipal, local government, and privately funded highway type work.
There are a few things you need to have ready before you take the survey. Take a moment to review information that will be required in the survey:
- Company Federal Tax ID
- Contract Information
- Regions where work was completed.
- Peak Month of Employment
- A current NCID is required to log into the survey. This will allow you to save your information and come back and update it later.
- If you've done business with the state already, you probably already have an NCID.
If you do not have an NCID, you need to register for one. Click here to register.
Follow the instructions to create an account. You'll be able to participate in the survey as soon as your account is created and activated.
