Fixing LOw Water Bridges for Emergency, Transportation, Technology, Equity, and Resilience Project (FLOW BETTER)
Div 11 counties of Ashe, Alleghany, Avery, Caldwell, Watauga, and Wilkes have several low water bridges. Using the RAISE grant funds, NCDOT will reconstruct several critical bridges to make the crossings safer and provide better access in emergencies.
