The Mobile GIS group is an entity of the GIS unit that provides technical assistance and resources for the NCDOT (Department of Transportation) business units, individuals, and NC State agencies that utilize Mobile GIS and or UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems).
The Mobile GIS group is responsible for new project requests, recommendations, and support utilizing Esri mobile components, including Collector, Survey 123, Open Source mobile GIS components, and support for projects using UAS capabilities.
