Guidelines for Drainage Studies and Hydraulic Design provides guidance in the methods, procedures, policies, and criteria that must be followed, and the information that is to be developed during a drainage study and hydraulic design. It is not intended to be an all-inclusive document on the practice of hydraulic engineering, and the designer must reference other materials and use good judgment in its application to ensure that the design is complete and appropriate for the site. The Guidelines are intended to be dynamic & continually improved upon and updated to ensure alignment with the PDN. As such, the Hydraulics Unit encourages suggestions and comments from users to improve the Guidelines by submitting comments and suggestions using CLEAR.
