The first six digits of the file name correspond to the standard drawing number. The last two digits of the file name correspond to the sheet of the drawing. Therefore, file 02000102.tif is standard drawing 200.01 sheet 2. The first two digits of the file name indicate the section of the standard specifications which the drawing falls into. The standard specification sections are listed in the table below. Click on a section name to display the drawings for that section.

This electronic version of the North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures Book dated July 2006 has been provided as a service to the public. In case of a discrepancy between the published book and this electronic publication, the printed, published book will prevail. This NCDOT Specifications Book will be effective beginning with the July 2006 letting. Users are cautioned that if a project is advanced to a letting date prior to July 2006, the January 2002 Specifications Book will apply and the conditions of that publication must be met.
