~ Isotropic deck consisted of #4 bars @ 9" in the top and bottom mats, with extra # 4 bars in the overhangs in the top mat only.
~ The bridge deck looked very good with no visible cracking.
~ West Virginia and Texas are two states that are currently using these types of decks.
A/I ~ Structure Design will work through the Bridge Team to evaluate the feasibility for developing a policy for more routine use of isotropic decks, such as for low truck-traffic, off-system bridges.
