• ?How do I reset my password?

    Password resets and additional account management takes place on the main NCID web site.

  • ?I’m unable to sign in.

    ​Your NCID Account maybe locked.  Please wait 30 minutes for your NCID Account to unlock and try again.  You may also visit the main NCID web site to unlock it by resetting your password.


    Your account must also be activated via email link. If you've signed up for a new account and have not activated it, please do so.  Check your spam folder if you don't see the message. If you do not do this you will have to re-register again after 3 days.


    Once your NCID is synced and added to the DOT site you will receive another email letting you know you have been added and You must then follow the link in the email to change your password BEFORE YOU CAN ACCESS the DOT site.​


    And remember you need to type "NCID\" before your username for access.

  • ?I have an NCID Account but cannot access parts of the Connect NCDOT web site.

    Accessing the Connect NCDOT web site requires an NCID Business Account. Then, that NCID Account needs to be linked to the specific Team Site you are attempting to access. This can be accomplished by forwarding your NCID Business Account information to your NCDOT Business Contact.

  • ?I lost/forgot my password.

    If you have an NCID Business Account and need your password reset, please visit the NCID web site. After answering a series of security questions, you will be able to create a new password for your account.

  • ?Signing in with your Mac

    For Apple Mac OSX users, you must use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Safari as your browser when signing into an NCDOT SharePoint site like Connect NCDOT.
