Pavement Design and Analysis provides pavement designs for TIP projects and Division projects. Also conducts evaluation of existing pavements using FWD testing, coring, and dynamic cone penetration testing, and recommends possible rehabilitation strategies.
Note: The Pavement Management Unit consists of three sections: Data Collection, Pavement Design and Analysis, and Pavement Management Systems. Data Collection and Pavement Design and Analysis now fall under the Materials and Tests Unit, while Pavement Management still falls under Asset Management.
