Subrecipients are prohibited from engaging in employment discrimination because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex or age.
Affirmative Action: Recipients of FTA funds shall take affirmative action to ensure that applicants for employment are hired without regard to age, race, disability, color, religion, sex or national origin.
EEO Program: Subrecipients that received $1 million or more in the previous Federal fiscal year and employ fifty (50) or more employees must have a written EEO Program.
Required Documents or Policies:
- EEO questionnaire;
- EEO Complaint Process;
- Up to date EEO Program, if grantee meets requirements;
- EEO information displayed in public area of transit facility;
- Employee and Applicant complaint procedures; and,
- EEO statement on applications and job announcements.
