The Integrated Mobility Division recently surveyed internal and external partners for feedback and suggestions. The 189 survey participants represent a wide range or agencies, including county and local governments, MPOs, RPOs, transit agencies, Councils of Government, and NCDOT units.
IMD received high marks for professionalism, accuracy of technical assistance, response time, vision, and overall satisfaction. NCDOT Central Office Units rated IMD most highly overall among participating organizations.
Areas for improvement identified from survey responses include improving training for transit agencies; streamlining and simplifying procedures; and, strengthening awareness and understanding of local issues.
The survey also asked respondents to rank importance of different mobility innovations and technologies. Mobility-as-a-Service/mobile ticketing, electric vehicles, and microtransit were ranked most highly overall.
IMD will conduct the partner survey annually going forward and strive to improve partner satisfaction.
