• 002 - Required Documents, Plans, Policies and Reporting

  • Required Policies and Procedures (Board Approved vs Non-Board Approved)

  • There are certain policies and plans required for Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) transportation grant recipients and transit providers.  Some of these policies and plans require approval by the grant recipient's or transit provider's governing board (county commissioners, city council, etc.).   This chart includes the required policies and plans and whether approvals are required.  If approval by the governing body is not required, the recipient or transit provider may develop and implement the plan or policy without the approval of the governing board.  However, IMD may still require the grant recipient to provide a copy of the policy or plan even if approval is not required.
