The Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) is a multimodal transportation plan. During the CTP process, the area’s future transportation needs will be determined, and recommendations will be provided for a 25-30 year timeframe. This plan is a joint effort between the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). The process will involve local government officials, planning staff, and the public. Draft Maps for all Modes are in the Maps tab below. Corresponding Draft Tables are in the Reports tab below. ***The Draft CTP has been released for public comment starting December 14, 2016 through February 24, 2017.*** For information on public participation and submitting comments, go to “Links” on the right of this page, click on “DCHC MPO Comprehensive Transportation Plan” link and it will take you to the DCHC MPO’s CTP webpage. Online Interactive Draft CTP Maps and other CTP information are also located there. The “DCHC MPO CTP Deficiency Analysis” link is to draft CTP Deficiency Analysis information (See Links - right).
