This Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) is a long range plan, which identifies major transportation improvement needs and develops long term solutions for the next 25 to 30 years. It is a joint plan between the Robbinsville, Lake Santeetlah, Fontana Dam, Graham County, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), and the Southwestern Rural Planning Organization (RPO). In February 2020, an amendment was made to the CTP requested by the SWRPO. Due to changes in project direction, the Graham CTP was amended to be consistent with Draft Design Study Report, public input, and the 2020-2029 STIP. The amendment updated descriptions of project A-0009 by removing the “US 74 relocation” designation but remained as a roadway improvement and new location projects.
