The Photogrammetry Unit is often called upon to respond in emergency situations as hurricanes, floods, rockslides and other catastrophic events. The aerial imagery and mapping products that the Photogrammetry Unit acquires and produces is used to document, assess, assist those responding on site, and to contribute to recovery efforts.
